LOUD: Queer Youth Theater is hosting an evening of body based performances. In a world that is set on attacking: Black bodies, queer & trans bodies, women's bodies, and so many more, we are hosting an evening that pushes back on this rhetoric and brings attention to some dangerous policies moving through the Louisiana House.
We are inviting submissions of monologues, poems, letters, songs, or other written work that reflect your relationship to your body and lived experience.
Submissions are open to people of all backgrounds. This project will be developed with a focus on prioritizing the voices and experiences of Black trans and queer youth.
Selected pieces may be included in a live performance and shaped through a devised, collaborative process.
If interested fill out THIS form.
