August Page to Stage Workshop
Hello! LOUD: Queer Youth Theater is hosting a three week directing workshop this August hosted by Roney Jones. This will be held on the 10th, 17th, and 24th of August from 5-7pm. If you are interested in attending please fill out the google form for this event. This workshop is available to any and all people and best suited for those at the beginning of their directing journey. To attend the workshops there is a $75 one-time fee

LOUD GAYla: A Pride Masquerade
Celebrate 10 years of LOUD at our Pride Masquerade Fundraising GAYLA!
Get fancy and join us for a fabulous night of Queer performances and joy at our in-person event located at the André Cailloux Center for Performing Arts and Cultural Justice (2541 Bayou Rd). Get ready to dance, mingle, and show your pride while raising funds for LOUD's 2024/2025 season. Tickets include light refreshments, amazing performances and a beer/wine open bar.
MASKS ARE MANDATORY ! There will be masks available at the event, and we encourage folks to decorate and bring their own. We will be honoring the person with the best mask with a super special and secret suprise.

Young BIPOC, Queer, and Trans folks,Where y'at? Have you been looking to build community? Free food? A chance to offer up your art? Look no further, we got us!
Pull up at 6pm on May 26th at Cafe Istanbul for PHASES, a FREE seasonal dinner and performance series for young BIPOC+Queer and Trans creatives, from ages 18-27 hosted by LOUD. Phases is an exclusive space for young BIPOC, Queer, and Trans folx to gather, share our talents, and network through intentional connection and collaboration.
In honor of the end of spring and the community we are hoping to cultivate with this event, we are excited to announce the first theme of Phases, “In Bloom, A Spring Sendoff.” To celebrate the turning of seasons, we are hosting an open mic with special featured offerings. We will also have raffles, a photobooth, flowers, and cute little goody bags cuz we love y’all.
