Loved Bayou: Environmental & Cultural Conference

This will be held @ Canoa :4210 St. Claude Ave

The theme of this conference is The “Be-Holder”.
The concept of beholding refers to holding the existential experience of being. It is about recognizing and witnessing the inherent value of life in all its forms, and understanding the transformative power of witnessing the lives of marginalized individuals.

This world-building workshop centers participants' life experiences as the foundation for creative exploration. We’ll focus on how personal stories can be transformed into theatrical expression using memory, identity, and lived moments to build imagined worlds on stage. The goal is to empower participants to see their own narratives as rich, dynamic material for performance and collective storytelling.
